Intro
PixelTester cycles your Symbian smartphone (Nokia
9210/9300/9500 or Sony Ericsson P800/P900/P910i) screen through all-white,
all-red, etc., giving you the chance of spotting any dodgy pixels before it's
too late to return the unit to the shop.
Downloading
You can download PixelTester here as
pixeltester.opo. Just run it from any
folder on your Communicator or smartphone. It's tiny and completely free, of
course, it only took 5 minutes to create in OPL 8-)
(If you haven't already done so, you'll also need to
install the OPL Runtime patch, from Symbian, which gives your communicator the
ability to run games and applications written in the OPL language. Get the OPL
runtime for the Nokia 9200 series here, the version
