TimeLog
for UIQ (Sony Ericsson P800/P900, Motorola A925/A1000, etc.)
for EPOC Release 6 (Nokia 9210, 9210i and 9290)
for Series 80 v2 (Nokia 9300 and Nokia 9500)

TimeLog helps your communicator keep minute-by-minute track of time spent working on different projects and for different customers.

  • Start and stop timers for up to twelve different projects, with time for the current period shown while active and cumulative totals shown at all times.
  • Customer/project names can be edited as required and their timers cleared down or reset as necessary.
  • Stop/start times and optional comments are logged for each project into separate delimited text files (with a choice of delimiters), for direct import into Excel or similar.
  • A 40-character note field allows for additional text and reminders, if needed.
  • 100% fully working shareware, no restrictions or machine locking whatsoever.
  • Leave TimeLog running and (on the Nokia Communicator) switch to it quickly with a unique system hotkey or using the communicator's 'Open programs' list.

Downloading

Series 80 (Nokia 9300/9500 version)

Download v1.8 here as timelogs80.sis (13k). See the notes below about needing the OPL runtime patch.

German speakers should download v2.0, here as timelogD.SIS (13k), which has the German translation strings in.

For v2.0: split all strings of text apart from the main code and started various language translations
For v1.8: fixed a minor settings bug, implemented proper product ID and supplier details into the SIS file;
For v1.6: Increased the number of project timers to 12, cosmetic improvements, simplified main menu.

Series 80 (Nokia 9210 version)

Download v1.8 here as timelog_9210.sis (13k). See the notes below about needing the OPL runtime patch.

UIQ (Sony Ericsson P800/P900 version)

Download v1.8 here as timeloguiq.sis (11k). See the notes below about needing the OPL runtime patch.
For v1.8: fixed a settings bug
For v1.7: Added tap shortcuts for project notes and cumulative time editing, condensed menu and added 'Back to program' item as extra workaround for OPL runtime menu 'feature'.

Look! OPL 'runtime' needed!

If you haven't already done so, you'll need to have already installed the free OPL 'runtime' on your communicator or smartphone. This is a small and safe patch that gives your device the ability to run OPL freeware and shareware programs and is highly recommended. You can even write your own, on your device, should you feel ambitious! Get the OPL runtime for the Nokia 9200 series here, the version for the Nokia 9500 here and the version for UIQ smartphones here.

I've also done a detailed User Guide (timelogguide.pdf, 140K) to the Nokia 9200/9500 series version of the program. (90% of it also applies to the UIQ version).

Please get feedback and reports of any bugs to me as soon as possible!

Registering TimeLog

Please see the payment options on my all-in-one registration page.

Other Notes

Note that, as with all my shareware, TimeLog is completely unrestricted. There are no time limits or restrictions in the trial version and I rely 100% on your honesty to register if you find the software useful to you. By registering, you'll remove the opening (and occasional) shareware screens, reward me for my efforts and also give yourself a warm feeling of having done the right thing.

I'm open to suggestions for extra features for TimeLog - feel free to contact me!
